Äriläbirääkimisteks vajalike suhtlemisoskuste omandamine ja arendamine. Kultuuri mõju ja -erinevuste teadvustamine ja arvestamine. Enesekehtestamise ja võimalike läbirääkimiskonfliktide juhtimise oskuste harjutamine omas kultuuris ja kultuuridevahelistes olukordades. Suulise ja kirjaliku läbirääkimisega seotud erialase sõnavara omandamine, sh. ingliskeelse (läbi õppekirjanduse valiku).
course aims in English
Acquire and develop communication skills required in business negotiations. Develop awareness of the influence of culture and cultural differences. Practice self-establishment and conflict management skills for both intra- and intercultural negotiation situations. Developing oral and written specialized skills, incl. those in English (through the chosen study literature).

Üliõpilane:
- tunneb äriläbirääkimiste teoreetilisi aluseid;
- suudab läbirääkimiste kaudu suurendada mõlema osapoole kasu;
- oskab mõjustada partnerit ise otsust langetama;
- oskab arvestada äriläbirääkimistel kultuuri mõju ja kultuuridevaheliste erinevustega;
- mõistab eesti- ja ingliskeelset valdkonna sõnavara.

Rahvusvahelistumine tänapäevases mõistes. Kultuuri kui kommunikatsioonielemendi teadvustamine ja sellega arvestamine. Kultuuri ja kultuuridevaheliste erinevuste mõju suhtlusele. Uued paradigmad tänapäeva juhtimis- ja suhtlemisteooriates, sh kultuuridevahelises kommunikatsioonis. Verbaalne- ja mitteverbaalne kommunikatsioon. Koostööle baseeruvad läbirääkimised. Läbirääkimiste hindamine. Väärtuspõhiste läbirääkimiste meetod; HLP meetod; läbirääkimiste ettevalmistus; läbirääkimiste protsess; võtted; kokkuleppe hindamine. Kultuuridevahelised läbirääkimised.

Internationalisation today. Developing awareness for culture as an element of culture and considering culture in communication and negotiations. The influence of culture and cultural differences on communication. New paradigms in current management and communication theories, incl. in intercultural communication. Verbal and non-verbal communication. Cooperation-based negotiations. Assessment of negotiations. Value-based negotiation method. HLP method. Preparing for negotiations. Negotiation process and tricks. Assessing agreement. Intercultural negotiations.
